*** ADMIN: Speed of delivery

Folks:

Just as an FYI ... the mail system is operating particularly slow today, and
probably for the next few days, because of a memory problem.

I have experienced a number of kernel panics since I got the new server ...
and have narrowed it down to a memory problem.   I've contacted the memory
manufacturer (Crucial) and requested a replacement, and until that comes,
the system is running on only 128mb of RAM.  This causes a LOT of swapping
... so the entire system is a lot slower than normal.

I hope to have the replacement tomorrow or Monday ... at which time the
previous performance should return.
