It sounds like you possibly had changed the default on the old system from for the SBMJOB parameter INLLIBL from *CURRENT (the shipped default) to *JOBD. This could have also been an issue that you might have had QSYS38 higher than QSYS in the system value QSYSLIBL (a no no), where S/38's default was *JOBD. When an end user selects an option from a menu and submits a job off to QBATCH, the SBMJOB command ignores the Library List from the job description used in the JOBD parm. Instead it uses the current library list off the interactive session. We have never had a problem with SBMJOB off our old box running these jobs. Has anyone had a similar problem. Is there a PTF out there to fix this. Or should i be looking elsewhere to solve the problem. I am starting to rolling thru the PSP for V5R1 but would appreciate any help that might save me some time.
