>From DST in a restricted condition, add the 17s in a new raid group. Then remove the 4s from the configuration. The data will be moved from the 4s to the 17s without any loss of data and the balance will be done for you at the same time. You did not mention about the load source. That can be done as well, but it takes a bit more effort. I suggest you follow Al's advice and get someone who has done that part before rather than try it yourself. The load source should be done first to a non configured drive, then the balance of the data. When I last did this configuration before, I found about 6 - 8 hours should be sufficient for the entire process. Also, make sure all of the current PTFs for the hardware etc. are on the machine.
