The alternative TN5250e product I use, support, sell, and recommend is
Synapse IP Client which comes with excellent and free tech support and free
online updates. It has all the features of a mature product including
display, printer (both TN5250e and LPR/LPD) and and SQL based file transfer.
It uses AS400 specific fonts to get all of the AS400 special characters in
any resolution. A free demo is at www.synapse.com.
