Mochasoft: The Java client has been unstable for me. The Windows client has problems with some fonts, drawing the underlines through the font, and things like that. The SSL support isn't very good, which is a big deal for me. Last time I used it, it had no printer support. The ability to connect my home printer using an SSL connection over the internet is important to me. It costs $25/copy, or $250 for a site license. Watch out for people on this list who will tell you that Mochasoft uses better fonts than TN5250. It uses the EXACT SAME FONTS. TN5250: Lacks keyboard mapping support. Lacks support for some of the enhanced 5250 operations. Doesn't have a GUI configuration dialog. The nice thing about open-source is I can fix the things I don't like. That's the reason that I'm one of the "developers" of TN5250. It's really Mike Madore's project, I simply added features that I wanted/needed. If everyone in the Midrange community had that attitude, TN5250 would surpass Client Access!
