Rob,

It looks to me like a little more information is needed to pin down your
problem. If possible, could you post the following:

1. Allow logon value
2. User profile (is it returned to the signon server yes or no is
sufficient)
3. User password (is one returned to the signon server yes or no is
sufficient)
4. Initial current library (is it returned to the signon server yes or
no is sufficient)
5. Initial home directory (is it returned to the signon server yes or no
is sufficient)
6. Length of initial home directory (is it returned to the signon server
yes or no is sufficient)
7. Application specific information settings.

Confidentiality agreements restrict me from stating too much in public
but if you can't post the above information for any reason, send them to
me at gary.monnier@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx All information will be treated
as confidential.

I've written a few exit programs in my day and I'll do what I can to
help.

Subject: ftp code 530

When I ftp from my pc to my iSeries I am getting:
530 Not able to set library QGPL for user FTPTEST; logon rejected. Login
failed.

WRKSBSJOB QSYSWRK
shows NOTHING of interest in any of the QTFTP* jobs.

Nothing of interest in either DSPMSG QSYSOPR or DSPLOG, or even QSYSMSG.

I am using Exit point: QIBM_QTMF_SVR_LOGON Format: TCPL0200

In this process I am switching user profiles to this user profile
FTPTEST.

Object . . . . . . . : QGPL

Object type . . . . : *LIB
