Good point (on the costs of using a 150).

This whole question of V5R2 on a 150/170 came up yesterday because some
folks I work with want to go to V5R2 for testing, but don't want to spend
any more money than they have to to do it. They've got an old 150 that's
laying around, not being used and have access to an old 170 as well. Their
long range plans are to use the V5R2 box for production work later on so
I've been strongly suggesting that they bite the bullet and spend the money
and get something that will last AND be supported, rather than try to pinch
a few pennies now. It always amazes me how people will guard the pennies
and then turn around and throw bushels of money out the window later on.

On the other hand, to be fair, I'm the kind of person who tosses the money
out the window to start with and NEVER counts the pennies! Which is why I'm
always broke, I'd guess.
