A 170, I believe so. There is a list of 'non-supported' or 'not recommended' hardware for v5r2. For example, the standard issue 10/100 ethernet card that was standard issue with a 170 is on the 'questionable' list. One list is 'unsupported stuff' and one list is 'should be OK but might act a little funny sometimes' list. A 150, I haven't heard.
