I think your next question is going to be can anyone afford to run V5R2 on a 150? Here is what I got from my business partner on 9-11-2002

"Still checking on some of the pieces, however, the 9401-150 machine add v5r2
with wds is really not the most economical way. If woul run somewhere around
$4000. to add the os/400 v5r2 and then the wds would be in addition. In
looking at this, the 9402-250 machine would run around $6500. to $7000 new
with the software on it. I will get back to you on the other pieces. Let me
know your thoughts on the 150."

I would get a 170 in the P05 group with a compiler licensed to it and pay the $750 (before July, support line is added to the cost after that) (also within 60 or 90 days of getting it) for software subscription.

I have run V5R2 on a 170.

Hi,

Hope this hasn't been asked before....does anyone know if V5R2 will run on a Model 150 or a Model 170?

Thanks!
