1 - Throw up a web site?
2 - Purchase an ASCII workstation controller from a third party. Many
will hook up via twinax. They should supply a program that you can give
the customers.
3 - Tell them to freaking get over it and get a local PC with Ops Nav.
Might be the most cost effective solution.
4 - Get a third party 5250 program and a VPN connection set up.
5 - Get a remote access device for their lan that people can dial into.
6 - I think that someone on this list had a 5250 interface for many of the
Navigator functions. Don't know if it covered configuring PPP.

Got a customer with a small 170 with 5 RS232 lines that are
not being used.

They want various customers to be able to dial in with
whatever PC they have laying around(sound familar).

This customer does NOT have a pc attached to the 170 and
shows no interest in doing so.

Can you even config a PPP connection with NO Ops Nav ???

Is SLIP an option ????(what emulation ??)

I suspect Client Access is also out of the question.

Async commuications anyone ???(with a cheap emulator)
