<<Can you even config a PPP connection with NO Ops Nav ??? Is SLIP an option ????(what emulation ??) I suspect Client Access is also out of the question. Async commuications anyone ???(with a cheap emulator) >> We had the same thing happen where I use to work at. We supported other customers systems. So what we had to do was, configure a dial up line on the AS/400, simular to the ECS line. We ran an emulator on the PC side, which was called Rally. We also had them use an SDLC modem, which was no bigger than the palm of my hand. As far as ASYNC goes, I think you need to have an ASCII WSC attached to the AS/400 to allow PCs to dial up via that way. I havent tried it any other way yet because I havent been with a company that needed it.
