- I seem to remember a rule of thumb: 70% - Plan for disk 80% - Order disk 90% - Install disk I like those guidelines. We should not need to add a controller or raid set. We did that the last time we added disk. Just need the drives. Production data grows, but not at a rapid pace. What kills me is to have 15 copies of production data (via month end, year end, and other test environments) scattered across multiple libraries and the users "can't do" without this data being available all of the time. 74% is ok now but I know by the end of the month I will be around 80%.
