We tried the automatic tuning, and ran into severe optimizer problems. The system re-optimizes stored procedures when changing memory pool sizes, which causes much greater performance issues than to be slightly 'out of tune'. Perhaps the fact that we have several hundred stored procedures makes it unworkable in our environment. Are we doing something wrong? Is there a way to override the re-optimizing when changing pool sizes?
