I have searched the archives but...Still puzzled. Setup: 1) iSeries and Exchange on same subnet. 2) Mail set up properly (before) on iSeries and Exchange Question: When choosing to forward your email through exchange, for the purpose of shielding iSeries from real world. Is it more proper to Authenticate to exchange (and how in the world is that done, Redbook?) And if you do not authenticate do you need a mail record for the iSeries server or is there another method to make that mail stream not a relay (black hole mail) i.e, sending on behalf of. Input GREATLY appreciated. Mark Villa in Charleston SC
