Looks like MSQuery in Excel doesn't create or at least doesn't leeave 
behind and .dqy files

Open the .dqy file in MSQuery, click on file/table definition, and change 
the data 
source to one that points to the system you want.  If lib/file are the 
same on the target 
system, you should be OK.
