No, there really is no practical way to recover a deleted spool file
unless you've taken specific steps before it was deleted.  Your spool
files are kept in physical file members in the QSPL library.  When they
are gone from the system, the member is cleared.  These members are not
saved under any normal backup plan using standard OS/400 commands, with
the exception of SAVSTG.  Unless you are using an advanced backup utility
of some kind or are copying your spool file to a physical file or some
other media, when they're gone, they're gone.

One possibility I've used in the past for extreme emergencies is to
restore the files used to generate the report in a non-production
environment and try to rerun it.
