Help ! I have posted this to both Code and Midrange lists hoping someone knows what I am trying to do. I am trying to create a 'field' where the user will select one of two options, with the system possibly displaying a third. Basically, the user will be able to mark a record active or transmit, and the system will change that to complete and then disable the update features. I need to set the attribute of the field at runtime, depending on what the record status is when it is retrieved. So far, I have tried Check boxes, radio buttons and a drop down list in a combo box and none appear to let me reflect the status of the record. Am I beating a dead horse ? I really want to present this as a window's based program instead of 5250. (User's percieves this as valuable). TIA, Cyndi B.
