Thanks to all who responded. Cable cut caused Ethernet card to short out. Fortunately I had a spare! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cynthia Kovarik" <ckovarik@bellsouth.net> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 05, 2003 7:49 PM Subject: Ethernet Cable Cut Help! Facility that houses our AS/400 is getting renovated. As part of this renovation ... they inadvertantly cut our Ethernet and Token Ring cables! Token Ring back up but having problem with Ethernet. I've advised them to cable directly from back of AS/400 Ethernet card to Cisco Catalyst Switch. No go. Swap this cable with Token Ring and ok so cable good? What am I missing here? Any and all feedback appreciated! _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
