hi,

I heard than ibm put linux on iseries, but i never tested.
I don't know how deep is the implementation.
But for the window manager, i don't know what they are doing.
I try to put some *nix cmds in strsqh and i see than as400 shell is very
poor.
If i have to put linux on a machine i'll use intel box, for the moment.

Objet : SuSE PowerPC Linux on iSeries

Anyone using this distribution of Linux on an iSeries? How about
telneting to it from a 5250 screen? Got "X" up and running? I need to
discuss these and other questions if you have it running.

Thanks
