Kirk,  I have set it up.  Telnetting is best done using SSH(after the
server is loaded).  You can use "X" but is much easier and cheaper(no X
server software to buy) to use the VNC product that is included with the
SuSE distribution.

There is a good redbook on the setup of LINUX.

Anyone using this distribution of Linux on an iSeries?  How about
telneting to it from a 5250 screen? Got  "X" up and running?  I need to
discuss these and other questions if you have it running.
