Hi Bonnie, either leave the T connector on the green screen being removed, or disconnect one of twinax cables from the tube that goes down. If that terminal stays down, reconnect and disconnect the other cable. On the other question, yes the printer you are adding will auto config. Just make sure the device address ( probably set on the front panel ) is set to an available address. If the printer is locally connected, use the PRTDEVADR command to see what addresses are free. hth, Steve -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Bonnie_Lokenvitz@epcmolding.com Sent: Wednesday, February 05, 2003 2:03 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: A Green Screen Question I need remove another workstation. It has one cable in - none out. I assumed this was the end of the line. When I remove it, another workstation goes down - blinking light in upper right. Both are Info Window II's - configured as 3487s. Besides removing one of the twin-ax cables from the second workstation, is there an 'end of line' that needs to be done in workstation setup? And if so, how do I do that? Thanks again, Bonnie Lokenvitz Engineered Polymers _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
