First off 820 @ V5R1. I have configured the TFTP server as follows:

AUTOSTART *NO
ENBBCAST *YES
NBRSVR 1
               2

INACTTMR 600
CCSID 00819
MAXBLKSIZE 1024
RSPTIMO 600
ALWWRT *CREATE
ALTSRCDIR '/home/QTFTP' also tried '/home/QTFTP/ET2000'
ALTTGTDIR '/home/QTFTP'

I have a CLI ET2000 terminal that I am trying to load new firmware. My PC
running Pumpkin TFTP works great, but I want to use the AS400 as we have
lots to do and I want our network and operations department doing this at
night when my PC is off.

The device requests '/ET2000/ETFLASH.UPD' I have placed the ET2000
directory inside the QTFTP directory. I have added and removed the ET2000
to the ALTSRCDIR as indicated above. User QTFTP has authority to the
directories and files. The TFTP server gets the initial connection and the
request and logs the request, 4 times for each attempt, yet still no
transfer.

Has anyone configured the TFTP server? Does the TFTP server use a base
directory that is prefixing what I am specifying?

TIA,
