We have multiple iSeries.  Sometimes for the directory I've used 
'/QFileSvr.400/myiseriesname/... to get to the remote iSeries instead of 
physically copying the data around.  Worked like a champ.

Isn't there a PTF for V5R1 that allows you to do this on V5R1?

By the way, thanks for the details on how to use the image catalog 
stuff...I
was wondering how to do this.
