Did you see the other posts from other folk? They mentioned some things, like the hosts setup on your iSeries, etc.

Did this used to work? Is this after an upgrade? Did you look at the iSeries Express site, to see what PTFs need to be installed for V5R2 of iSeries Express?

That's as far as I can get. Hope you have software support, you might need to get to them.

I appreciate your help Vern. I think I missed the PTF because
I left the limit at 50 APARS.
I applied the PTF but MGTC still fails with the same message.
Is there some sort of setup I need to do on JAVA.
I assume there is a reason why OPS NAV is starting a JAVA
process but I have no idea what.
In the APARs I find no reference to CPFB9BC.

What do you suggest I try now.

Thanks

I ran a search at IBM's improved search site and found PTF SI04825, which
"will correct an initialization problem that was causing the failure of the

Management Central Job Monitors."

The improved site is
<
http://www-912.ibm.com/ImprovedSearch/SearchBroker?selScope=More&action=fromMasthead&q

&Search.x=39&Search.y=13>
and it's supposed to be even better after tomorrow - over 75 IBM sources
will be included, I've been told.
