if it is retroactive, that would be the smartest move IBM has
made in quite some time, but I guess a lot of old customers
would want their money back, so based on that, I would think
that there is only a very slim chance for a retroactive (and free) 
PTF. Of course, there is always a "virus" (as some have called it)
that people can buy to take care of the problem :-)
