Define 'work'. I prompted the EDTDOC command. It actually remembered the last document I edited. What the he!!, I pressed enter. I got the message: OFC8019-Required module not on system. Doing a DSPCMD on EDTDOC reveals no special 'product library' or 'current library'. The program that the command calls is the same program that issued the OFC8019 message. (F9=Display message details) Was there ever a MRGDOC command? That sure doesn't exist. PRTDOC seems to work. I am running V5R2 with no restored version of OV/400. Someone might suggest that you use MSWord to do editing, since it supports RTF documents, (with the appropriate download). However, I bet you'd have a bear of a time with the special merge codes, etc. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." The command for document processing and folders work. STROFC does not. Administration is done at the command line. No more nice menus and screens. Calendar is there but you will have to write your own user interface. The commands work, ADDCALITM.... but not WRKCAL. If you do find a way to make it work, please post here. -----Original Message----- From: Ted Barry [mailto:TBARRY@centralsan.dst.ca.us] Sent: Wednesday, January 15, 2003 1:46 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Officevision (OV/400) on V5R1 Hello Folks, I've been away for the mailing lists, so please forgive me if this has been answered before. We're going to be upgrading to an iSeries 270, but we're not prepared to abandon Officevision. Has anyone successfully re-installed Office on V5R1? _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
