We'll be ready later when we have the funds available. I just want to know if
anyone has successfully done this and if anyone has any notes.

I am curious. IBM has given a few years notice that OV was dead. When
will you be ready?

Frankly I think the people who have mentioned that there are rumours that
OV will work on V5R1 have actually done people a disservice by giving them
false hopes that they can extend the life of this product.

I was as bummed as the next guy, and had to rewrite some applications. But
I realized that beating my head against the wall only hurts me and doesn't
even annoy the wall.

Hello Folks,

I've been away for the mailing lists, so please forgive me if this has
been answered before.

We're going to be upgrading to an iSeries 270, but we're not prepared to
abandon Officevision. Has anyone successfully re-installed Office on
V5R1?

Thanks,
