Wow, Booth, quite a simple statement, but very intriguing.  Seriously. 
Has anyone ever asked that question before?

I don't even do half the stuff you mentioned in the tool you describe,
but I've always HATED having to code DDS file specs from scratch. 
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have one command/shell/app that could do
everything you mentioned for a given table, including a way to avoid
coding DDS specs?
