For example, if someone shows you a new RPG op code do you have to request additional formal training just to try it out? Most people would hate working for a company like that. Granted, formal education is good. And we've had Jon Paris come here to teach RPGLE and Code/400. And we've purchased a slew of ATS courses, manuals, etc. But we are not going to beat someone up side the head for spending a little time trying something new. Now there was the time that someone spent a few days trying to load something that we put the brakes on. Been several years. Might have even been the OS/2 version of SSA's tool.
