Just an observation.

Once again IBM favours its large customers, ignoring most of its smaller
business customers. The iSeries is already too expensive for many small
businesses.

Could this be a trend? Is IBM converting the iSeries into the next
generation 'Mainframe', of interest only to customers with large
processing requirements?

Is the small business end of the iSeries just not profitable enough?

Perhaps I am not being fair, but it often feels this way. I have 6385
and noted Larry's observation with dismay. Once again I will be
committed to significant expense for no real business advantage if I
move V5R2. I can well understand why businesses move to other platforms!
