I assume since you're moving your business applications to this platform, you've got some support options in place. Did whoever decided this move consider the migration aspect? Do you have a deadline in place for the move? If so, how much time was budgeted for the conversion, parallel processing and testing? Since you're about to start your migration, it seems a little late in the game to start researching relatively major issues like data conversion. add to that the fact that you're moving OFF the AS/400. There's not many of us here who are interested in that particular direction. This newsgroup is focused on those who are moving TO (or at least staying on) the midrange platform. Good luck to you.
