I hope you took the time to read my followup post, which basically said exactly the same thing you did. Much of the "new" stuff for OS/400 is "old" for other platforms. But now we have it, AND we have our strengths. The other platforms, which aren't evolving as quickly, are basically at the same place they were 5 or 10 years ago. Except for Windows, which is at a new place every couple of years. And lest everyone think I'm a nonstop Windows basher, I live Win2K. I won't touch WinXP, but I love Win2K. Joe
