Just to argue over a dead horse...

The people I knew who worked with OS/2 were extremely frustrated. Now, I
think a big part of that had to do with the (I can't think of the word,
paradigm?). These were people coming from DOS, or maybe a stripped down
home version of Windows. And now they were jumping to configuring
network's etc. I've configured a lot of iSeries Access, but that OS/2 was
a different animal.

One of my early exposures was at an IBM Technical conference in Nashville
several years ago. Susan Gantner was demoing Code/400 and the whole OS/2
based PC locked up. Oh well, at least her clogging demonstration that
night at the party was good. :-)

Oh I don't disagree with the decision at all Adam. With the way it was
being handled, what's the point ? Yikes, hope that isn't writing on the
wall for the AS/400... ;-)

If you had ever worked with OS/2, it was SO much more reliable, secure,
etc. then Window it wasn't even funny...
