hey all,

something weird is going on here.

i've got a query that i've run about 60 times a day for years. it's just a
quick utility I wrote a long time ago that does a dspffd and dspfd *accpth
to outfiles and then runs a query joining the files showing me a field list
for a file. I haven't changed this query for years.

today, it quit working. I get a dump and the following message in the log:

MCH1209 - Invalid value in floating-point instruction.

I can run the query using option 9 from the wrkqry list, or using option 1
when saving the query, but it won't run if I use runqry, or press F5 while
changing the query.

I can, however do a strait runqry *n on the outfile, and it works fine.

no ptfs have been installed recently, nothing i can think of has changed.

any ideas?

thanks,

rick
