We had the same problem with our 170 about two months ago. We used a couple of 
PC power cables
to keep the system running. I bought standard plugs at Lowe's, cut off the 
non-standard plugs,
and replaced them. Be sure to use an ohm meter to keep the polarity the same as 
the original
plugs, especially the ground.
