Dear Mark, One of the reasons for the "Processing" phenomenon on an IBM 4232 LED panel is as follows. Certain OS/400 Host Print Transform drivers can send an initialization sequence after the form feed value that ejects a page to properly position the print head to the top of the next page when working with certain impact printers. When this philosophy is employed with an IBM 4232 printer, it will cause the LED panel to always claim the printer condition is processing even when the printer is waiting for data. The reason is that the printer is waiting to begin printing the page that is active, from its perspective, because it has received a couple of page formatting commands. This method of working with an IBM 4232 should never prevent it from printing correctly. After you finish a one or two page print job, is it possible to send another print job to the printer and have it print correctly without performing any type of reset process at the printer or not?
