With any of the spooled file managers, even roll-your-own, business users and other IT staff will invariably move splfs around from one dedicated outq to another. We also schedule a few jobs once a week before any archiving or purging takes place; which sweep selected splfs back to their designated outq, as the purge strategy is based on the outq name. A command like this below is used; I have learned to be really grateful to programmers who specify a unique userdata parameter and who use unique named spool files for their pgm output. So much easier to filter than the careless fools who blithely use QSYSPRT for all & set the default to SAVE(*YES).
