Our Network guys also schedule it to happen as a non-automatic process.
Your job timings get thrown out otherwise, especially for those day-long
processes at weekends. Maybe it'd be good to have the choice to automate
it, but I can't see it would be a useful default and might be
counter-productive on a multi-user machine.  I'd much rather know when it
was happening. Being in the GMT zone, I've learnt a lot about using the
offset from this discussion, thanks, guys!
