I agree with you.  If the difference between passing 55 parms and 1 is truly
significant to the speed of Rick's program (eg: he is doing this call
millions of times), then he should move it internal to his program.  Even a
bound call has more overhead than an EXSR.

My guess is that the overhead of the call is going to be much more
significant than the actual parms.

And 55 parms, that is A LOT!  I suspect the application should be looked at
for simplification possibilities. This doesn't mean put the parms into a
data structure, but eliminate the need for the parms all together.
