RE: sound error through PC speakers, not the standard beep

thank you for the suggestions (been so busy I forgot about vrpg; I need a
vacation),
the java/queue sounds cool as I could change the sound,
and I will look too at synapse -

I had even thought about going cgi/html, but I was a little nervous
showing a browser to the warehouse personal.

Thanks for clearing some trees in the forest so I could see it :)

You might check with Synapse at: support@synapse.com  I know their file
transfer had the ability to play sounds (not sure if it was WAV files or
what), don't know if they put it in their display or not.
