I had even thought about going cgi/html, but I was a little nervous
showing a browser to the warehouse personal.

You might check with Synapse at: support@synapse.com  I know their file
transfer had the ability to play sounds (not sure if it was WAV files or
what), don't know if they put it in their display or not.
