The controller knows (somehow) when the battery is weak and disables use of the cache when this happens. It also reports at problem at this point so that you know to call service. If your Disk units get abnormally busy and the system very slow then this is one possibly condition. WRKPRB or QSYSOPR will both show the problem. - Larry Marco Facchinetti wrote:
