Did not use Revelation.

Definitely not coding errors. Two different packages. And the error was
so odd, yet tracking it was the same on both systems. Generally known to
be the OS itself.

A join update? The thing slowing down the rest of the world on that is
probably they use the iso standards committee. Pick never bothered.

Rob,

Coding errors? Did you ever use Revelation?
Pick did stress OS's but allowed far more
functionality than SQL based databases today.
SQL is way to restrictive to model most business
problems today. Dare I say it RPG III and the
original Sys/38 database is more flexible?

How about an update join sometime this century...
Only 98 years to go...

Regards

Konrad
