IBM's Partnerword has an offer for about $595 per year, called the Software Mall and you can get various AS400 software, each for a minimal cd charge, including major $20-50k titles. Joining Partnerworld is free. Only hitch is you can't use software for something like an ASP - selling the use of it. For development & demo. www.partnerworld.com great newletter with links to all kinds of developer info, tools, etc. This is not expensive! jim franz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Hart" <doughart@twcny.rr.com> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 27, 2002 6:45 PM Subject: RE: Just for Fun (was v5r1 license key) > I too have an AS/400 system home in my basement that I use just for fun. > My 50S serves the web site http://dhart.no-ip.info where I post my AS/400 > interests to. > > As a consultant I'm not able to work on things that I necessarily find > interesting, but must do as the client wills.
