I would not upgrade a production system to V5R2, until October. This will allow for atleast one Cum-tape to be available after the official GA date of end of August. What is the reason to go to V5R2? Unless there is a feature that you just have to have, then it makes sense. For instance, if you just bought an 890 then you would need to run V5R2.
