There's also the WRKSPLFA command. Or you could WRKSPLF to OUTPUT(*PRINT). This handily bypasses the assistance level and provides all the pertinent details. I have a program to slice and dice the output from WRKSPLF SELECT(*ALL) OUTPUT(*PRINT) into a spreadsheet so that I can sort by user and total by number of pages, count, and size. -Jim (I'll go back and check the rules, but I thought you weren't allowed to post on this list if you used ASTLVL(*BASIC).) -----Original Message----- From: Pat Barber [mailto:mboceanside@worldnet.att.net] Sent: Wednesday, August 21, 2002 12:49 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Spool File and IFS ********** NOTE ***************** Your method ONLY works if the "assistance level" is set for "intermediate" .....(a lot of folks use *basic) Your method does appear to work, although after all these years I admit not EVER seeing that info before(spool file size in k). I prefer "basic" for spool file support and I almost always set my stuff up that way.. bdietz@3x.com wrote: > > Al do you think the size that is shown on the WRKSPLF screen (hit a couple > of F-11's) is incorrect?? > > Your way seems like a lot of work. >
