I've FTP'd data files to & from mainframes using PUT, GET, so I thought I might do this with a save file. It's really a once-off. Though I can see it'd be useful to do, if only I could ... I have found I can't use data transfer for this, & if there's an Ops Nav method, I can't see the object there; again because it's not a PF. What I'm now trying is to connect to an IP address my PC is mapped to (an NT server) which I can ping, but when I FTP I "cannot connect to host" . Lots of fun. I reckon I should check with our network support guy on IP addresses. My next step would be to put it into my NT target directory. Fiona fiona.fitzgerald@notes.royalsun.com
