We've recently had a spate of users who, while working on "native 400" terminals (I hate to call them "dumb"...you know, these machines have feelings too!), have accidentally disrupted the power (e.g. kicking out the plugs, bumping into power switches) resulting in their jobs going into the "DSC" status. Now sometimes when they sign back on, they get the OS400 recovery options...and that is no problem. But many times the jobs are disconnected, there is no recovery panels displayed and files opened for update remained locked and unaccessible until the job is found and terminated. Questions: 1. Since WRKACTJOB only picks up "active" jobs, is there any command or service available that can display all of the jobs in "dsc" status? 2. Does anyone know why you sometimes get the recovery panels and other times not? Thanks again everybody.
