I don't think you can do it at compile time (when you create the print
file if that is what you are doing). But you can use an OVRPRTF and
change the offset for when you fax vs. when you print. We set this up a
while ago so I don't really remember all the particulars. It seems that
we ended up just creating a print file that was strictly for faxing since
we had the same problem (overlay was off the page - different from when it
printed).

If I had to do it over again and could do it any way I wanted I would
figure out how I could use HylaFAX instead. It is way more reliable and
flexible. And it runs at least 20 times faster that IBM's fax software.
But it doesn't run on iSeries. What I would prefer is something like
this:

1. send my spooled file to my HylaFAX server using tn5250 and scs2pdf
2. Somehow instruct the HylaFAX to send the resulting PDF to the fax
number that would somehow be given
3. enjoy the email message that HylaFAX sends me letting me know all went
well :)

Step 2 is the hard part. It would probably involve writing a HylaFAX
client for the iSeries. But if that were in place it would be a *sweet*
way to fax. And it is free.
