I had a similar problem with a Win98 Dell - exact same error messages. IBM Support walked me thru a test, using the Windows Hyperterm pgm to prove the pc was the problem, specifically in the communication protocols. I loaded WinXP Pro which replaced all the win ip protocols, and now works fine. Sorry - I don't remember the test, it was many steps. Their recommend was to uninstall all the protocols and re-install them. Then recreate the modem. Before I did the pc upgrade, I took another W98 pc, loaded Ops Console, and worked fine, further proving my pc was hosed. hth jim franz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dr Syd Nicholson" <sydnic@ccs400.com> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 06, 2002 9:41 PM Subject: Re: Ops Console problems with Win2K > -- > [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] > Hi Vern, > > Shame about the absent twinax adapter. > > One thing I haven't tried is the Lan Console.
