The 3 white are binary values, so to set address 1 set the 2 and 4 switches
OFF and the 1 switch to on.

The blue switch tells the printer if it is the last device or only device on
the cable. In that case set it to "1". If there are "2" cables attached, one
from the cpu or prior device and one going to another device, then set it to
"2"

Anyone know how to set the address on a IBM 5224 matrix line printer?

On the back of the device I see three white on/off switches.  The first
switch has a 4 above it, the middle switch a 2 above it, and the last switch
has a 1 above it.

Below these three switches is a blue switch with a 2 on top and a 1 on the
bottom.

I suppose that these switches somehow set the address. How would I set this
device to address 1?
